On the 15th May Childminding Matters held their 22nd Annual Conference in Norwich. The successful and very well attended conference brought childminders and childcare practitioners together to celebrate childminding and to have a wonderful day, exchanging information, gaining knowledge from interesting workshops and viewing (and buying!) from the myriad of stalls available.

The world renowned Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Oxford, Kathy Sylva OBE, was the keynote speaker and gave an address on 'Quality Learning.'

It was also a special day for one childminder, Mrs Norma Broadest, who has been in the profession for 28 years and her contribution was honoured with a presentation of a certificate and flowers by Mike Hanby, the Chair of the Council of Management Committee.

So a good day was had by all!
