West Norfolk Childminding Cluster

West Norfolk Childminding Cluster provides registered high quality childcare and education to children in West Norfolk.

The West Norfolk cluster is part of the Norfolk Childminding network, approved and accredited by the National Childminding Association as a Children Come first Quality Assurance scheme.

Registered childminders are assessed onto the network by a Network Coordinator, who then monitors the network childminders practice on a 8 – 10 week basis ensuring the standards of the NCMA ‘Children Come First’ quality childminder charter are maintained.

• Support from a network coordinator who will keep you up to date with new legislation and information
• Access to a toy library with a variety of resources
• Working with the local children’s Centre as part of a wider family resource
• The opportunity to provide early education to 3 and 4 year olds
• Being part of a group who meet for monthly support meetings and provide back up for each other in times of sickness, holidays and emergencies
• Individual training plan
• Training held locally at convenient times
• A vacancy-matching scheme.
